Taste The Rainbow!

10 pound harvest today!!!!
As predicted we have tomatoes coming out of our ears! Today's total harvest was 10 pounds of veggies bringing the seasonal total to a whopping 71.5 pounds harvested so far !!! Not bad for a first year start up garden. The biggest surprise today in the Garden, (other than someone coming in to weed, THANK YOU VERY MUCH,) was to see our first pumpkin pie pumpkin. That means Fall is right around the corner. We also harvested yellow cherry tomatoes which were a little surprising since we didn't think those plants survived. Lettuce is abundant as well. This week we will try again to plan on a having a work/harvest day and get that winter garden planted as well as construction of our compost bins. Will keep you posted. For now enjoy some Garden Scenes.
