Biggest Harvest Yet!

13 pounds harvested today!

We harvested 13 pounds of veggies today! That brings our seasonal total to 85 pounds!!! We have been experiencing cooler than usual nights so the tomatoes are starting to show some stress but we are confident we will still be able to eek out a few more pounds. The corn is nearly ready and we have about a dozen butternuts ripening on the vines. The string beans are still producing abundantly and once the peppers ripen we will have a plethora of those as well. We are a little behind planting the winter garden as our work day was rained out. We will try again this weekend. School starts in a couple of weeks and I can't wait to see the looks on the faces of those children who haven't seen the Garden since June. The transformation is incredible.

The morning glories are loving the cool weather.
